 JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT
The Club is committed to the future and the development of the great game of cricket for women and girls in the North Shore area. We are the only women’s grade club in Sydney supporting a junior structure for girls, providing a development pathway to Grade cricket and beyond.
Our juniors compete in three age/skill competitions Sthalekar, Blackwell, and Poulton Shields. (Two of which are named after three current Australian players who are former Gordon players – Lisa Sthalekar, and Alex & Kate Blackwell). Players are provided opportunities to train with our senior players, to assist with developing their skills and confidence.
In addition to this, we run a number of specific programs in the pre-season to introduce the game of cricket to girls. |
