Fantasy League Reveal 3 - 2007/08

Last time the Fantasy League was revealed, it was reported that the previous rounds were impacted on by the weather. The last few weeks have also been a stop-start affair for some temas, with the lower grades spending very little time on the field. In fact, it appears that those big $$$ players, in 1st grade, have really earned their money in the past few rounds, with one-dayers and the like helping them put the points on the board for the Fantasy Teams.

Most importantly, there is only one more round until the freenzied Christmas trading period. Details will be released next week regarding the rules and regulations surrounding the transfer period. However, there are some teams in dire need of a grease and oil change, getting rid of the deadwood and replacing them with some of the fresher players.

Whilst Sam Ranney's leave of absence from the club hasn't effected his teams' performances, there are some fresh faces near the top of the leaderboard. The 2nd grade captain, also with a spell on the sidelines, and the youngster, Dan Lake, who was harrassed by Jim Gatting during the Back to Chatswood night, have both made it into the top 10. Looking further down the charts, two great club fathers, Archer and Colley, are having less success than there sons in the competition so far. The social committee is expecting wholesale changes to those teams to right the injustice.
