15th March - End of Season Party
This is the final event for the season. From the committee that has brought you all your entertainment this year, we bring you another fantastic evening. After the match on Saturday against Manly, head back to the Chatswood Oval Clubrooms for the End of Season Party. There will be plenty to drink and lots to eat. In fact, there is a whole fridge or two to get through!! Let's finish the regular season in style!!
The committee has organised a catered gourmet BBQ at the end of season party. Admission is $20 and covers all of the food and all of the drinks throughout the night. Not only will there be great food and drink, but you will get it for the lowest of low prices! Come on down and help your clubmates drink the bar dry!

With Dylan Connell installed as Club Captain, the social committee has thousands of new ideas to put into place. This season the social committee will provide the Gordon community with many highlights. It is your chance to get involved on and off the field with this wonderful club. With planning for the first events already well underway, the 2007/08 season will be a cracker. You can find out all about the social events by checking out the articles below. This year we are planning on returning to our traditional home of the Chatswood Oval club rooms after matches. We will have a more organised bar (providing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages) and the BBQ will be running regularly. After matches we expect all club members to make an effort to return to Chatswood Oval and catch up on the day's play over a few drinks and a bite to eat.
There are 6 major events this year and their dates are listed below. It is important that all club members make an effort to support these events. They will be loads of fun!!
Saturday 13th October – Back to Chatswood night, Chatswood Oval Club rooms
Friday 16th November – Stags Lunch
Saturday 22nd December – Xmas Party, Chatswood Oval Club Rooms
Sunday 20th January – Ladies Day & Sponsors Day, Chatswood 1st Grade vs. Bankstown
Sunday 24th February – Golf Day
Saturday 15th March – End of Season, Chatswood Oval Club Rooms
In addition to these evenings, in order to support the Greengate, we have organised 7 evenings where the Chatswood Oval club rooms will be closed and everyone will head up the Greengate (Pacific Highway, Killara). One last thing! There will be drinks on every Thursday night after training with BBQ's to be held throughout the season. |
