Training Sessions

Training sessions during the season are conducted at the practice nets at Chatswood Oval on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. A First and Second grade squad also trains with Mark O'Neil in a specialist session on a Tuesday evening.

Pre-season training for the 2011/12 season is being held at Narrabeen AIS and the schedule for the 2011/12 pre-season can be found below:

If you have any friends or family that wish to play grade cricket with Gordon, please ask them to fill in the new player application form and to attend on Sunday 7th August at the SAS - Wakehurst Parkway - Narrabeen from 1pm - 4pm.

Please note: The nets are right around the back of the SAS complex, past the Sea Eagles Ovals.

GDCC Pre-Season Grade Training and Trial Games 2011

August: Sundays 7th; 14th; 21st; 28th - 1pm to 4pm at SAS (Sydney Academy of Sport) Narrabeen – synthetic nets

September: we now move to all turf wickets

* Sunday 4th - 1pm to 4pm Chatswood Oval nets

* Tuesday 6th - 4pm – 6.30pm Chatswood nets, with lights from 5pm

* Thursday 7th - 4pm – 6.30pm Chatswood nets, with lights

* Saturdau 10th - 9am – 12.30pm Chatswood nets

* Sunday 11th - Trial games at Macquarie Uni - details TBA (will include playing Macquarie and internal game)

* Tuesday 13th - 4pm – 6.30pm Chatswood nets, with lights

* Thursday 15th - 4pm – 6.30pm Chatswood nets, with lights

* Saturday 17th - 9am – 12.30pm Chatswood nets

* Sunday 18th - Lower Grade Trial game at Turramurra Oval V Easts
                                     Top Grade Trial game at Killara Oval V Easts - details TBA

* Tuesday 20st - 4pm Practice at Chatswood Oval
                                      Teams for R1 to be announced at approx 6.30pm

* Thursday 22rd - 4pm practice at Chatswood Oval

* Saturday 24th - Grade Round 1 commences with a two-day match

Normal Tues/Thurs practice then continues throughout the season.
