Some silent auction items still available for sale

After the finalisation of the silent auction at the GDCC Charity Dinner last Thursday, there were three items still available for sale. For those who were not able to make it, or couldn't decide on the night, we are giving you the opportunity to make a further bid for each item.

Legends Lunch – 9 Gordon Test players

The Gordon Legends lunch was set at selling 10 tickets to a lunch with the Gordon Legends shown below at a minimum price of $250 a ticket. On the night surprisingly there were 7 tickets sold with therefore 3 remaining. This is fantastic opportunity for a Gordon supporter to join us for the lunch. All you need do is send an email to and place a bid and the first three above the $250 mark will be accepted. Send in your email now!

To remind everyone the prize is as follows:

The lunch will be attended by Neil Harvey, Brian Taber, Ken Eastwood, Ian Davis, Graeme Watson, Matt Nicholson, Beau Casson, Trevor Chappell and Phil Emery and will be held in a CBA function room in their city offices.   We are running this offer a bit differently, making it possible for any Gordon supporter to attend. The item will be in the silent auction and the highest bidders for tickets will attend with a minimum of $250 per ticket. You can put a group together if you like and make an offer. The rules will be in order of the highest per individual bid and if some are equal the same the first ones on the sheet. There is a maximum of 10 tickets available.

Bottle of Chateau Haut-Brion

The fantastic 1986 bottle of Chateau Haut-Brion is also available before it is returned to its temperature controlled room or drunk by one of the committee. The last sale for this wine was US$800, so this is a bargain at $500. The item is shown below.

Vintage wine from Hilton Chapman – Chateau Haut-Brion. Starting bid $500

The final item not sold were the three framed photographs as per below. These would look great anywhere in your house or office. This is a bargain not to be missed. McLean's photos sell for over $1,000 each and the frames cost more than $600.

Triptech (3 like framed photos) of original McLean Stephenson works. Award winning photographer. Starting Bid $600 for all three

So if you want one or more of these items just email and they are yours.
