Gordon District Cricket Club is one of the oldest cricket clubs in Australia, participating in Sydney’s grade cricket competition since 1905. Throughout this time the club has enjoyed much success, with a golden era in the first half of the 1990s, when the club won consecutive first grade premierships. Our Poidevin-Gray (U21) team were joint premiers in the 2020-21 season, underlining the wealth of young talent at the club today. Based in the heart of the North Shore, Gordon boasts excellent facilities at Chatswood Oval, Killara Oval and Beauchamp Park, which are conveniently accessed by players and supporters.

The club is an active supporter of junior and women’s cricket on the North Shore – through both administrative involvement and coaching support. We operate a very successful cricket academy for Under 21 players that has 70 members each season. Twenty existing members or graduates have played first grade or higher. Our junior club, the Gordon District Junior Cricket Club, participates in the North Shore Junior Cricket Association, which is one of the largest junior associations in Sydney.

The Gordon Women’s Cricket Club is an integral part of cricket on the North Shore and have continued a run of success with many premierships over the last few seasons.

We look forward to the future with confidence that Gordon will be continue to be a professionally run club in a solid financial position, with a hard working administration, high-calibre coaches, favourable demographics, quality facilities, council support and a strong junior base.
